CREATIVE WRITING WORKSHOP IN SCHOOLS
The Writers College is a fully registered and approved professional Writing Institution specifically designed to educate children/teenagers aged 5-19 years the skills on how become a successful creative writer regardless of their age, sex, education or background.
The seminar is targeted at giving lectures/seminar to the children on creative writing as part of the school curriculum and showing them instructional writing materials with video clips that will grab their attention on what to write and how to write in order to succeed and sell..

BRIEF HISTORY
What has metamorphosed to the writers college educational consultancy limited started as the writers college with just a business name college education years back in Lagos registered with the corporate Affairs commission in Abuja on the 15th February 2019.
The more people began to crave for serious desires to be taught creative writing and with my experience for 10 years teaching English Language, I upgraded the writers college to the writers college educational consultancy limited fully registered on the 28th day of May 2024 under section 659 by the Corporate Affairs Commission, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Abuja.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENT
A senior secondary school certificate SSCE, WASC, NECO OR GCE O ‘ LEVEL with credit passes in 5 subjects including English Language and Mathematics in no more than two sitting. A combination of results from two examinational bodies may be accepted as two sittings. Two of the credits must be relevant to the course the candidate wishes to offer.
Mature students can also apply to take any of our courses but must submit relevant educational certificates of his or her previous schools or institutions
For students wishing to offer our certificate and diploma programmes without any educational background of any kinds especially in creative writing or English elementary will be given a serious consideration.

The Writers College as a legal and reputable institution has been accredited by Cornerstone Institutions Accreditation Center Forum in Zambia on the 31th of August 2023 with accreditation number ACC 3913635 which granted the college to run HIGHER EDUCATION, from Diploma, Bachelor Degrees and Masters. We also got accreditation from Global Nation Open University, India on the 7th of October 2023 with ACCREDITATION NO: GNOU/AC23/722 and finally with World Human Rights Education Commission in India on the 15th of September 2023 with ACCREDITATION NO: WHREC/2023/164.

WHAT MAKES US SPECIAL
SEMINAR FEE
The one day seminar will attract a fee of N5,000 per child (The fee will cover their writing materials and certificate of participation). Each school that wants their children to join the writers club or set up the club in their school should contact the Director of Studies.
This seminar has been carried out in some schools in Lagos with proof of photographs.
The writers club has been approved and recognized by the Federal Government of Nigeria and other writing institutions across the globe.
